INTRACOM Defense Electronics (IDE)
has significant experience in the design,
development, qualification and production
of missile data links and telemetry systems.

These systems are used either in surface-to-air or air-to-air missiles.

IDE’s innovation in its Data Link designs is based on two key features:

  • Field-proven knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing state-of-the-art waveforms and protocols. During the past years IDE has developed waveforms based on customer specific requirements for both missile guidance applications and for its WiWAN Tactical Radio’s product suite. This has given IDE an in depth expertise and capability to design efficient and robust new generation data links.


  • Extended embedded software control capability in the design, offering the following advantages:


    • Reduced R&D cost to new Data Link design
    • Reduced impact from customer requested changes and field testing
    • Re-usability of hardware design for other similar applications with minimal changes

IDE has invested significant resources over the past years in developing wireless communications waveforms and RF link architectures that can be easily tailored for new designs that satisfy customer defined requirements.
