INTRACOM DEFENSE had the pleasure to participate as Silver Sponsor and Εxhibitor in the 5th Athens C4ISR International Conference, which took place on 19th-20th November at the War Museum. The aim of the conference was the knowledge exchange, tapping into the latest technical developments in land, navy, air force platforms and weapon systems, C4ISR, Digital Battlefield, Artificial intelligence, and Cyber Security.
Mr. Efstathios Karagiannis, Marketing General Manager of IDE, with other high executives of the company welcomed at the company’s stand the representatives of both MoDs of Greece and Cyprus, as well as other defense industry executives. IDE’s stand focused on Secure IT Network for combined netcentric operations, ATTALUS ISR System, and PROTEAS EDF 2022 Project.
In this frame, Mr. Dimitrios Milioris, Master AI Engineer of IDE, made a presentation, titled “Intelligence and Sensing: The cases of IMINT and GEOINT”, which explores how advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Sensor Integration, are transforming defense operations with notable contributions to projects such as PROTEAS (101121371 – PROTEAS – EDF-2022-DA) and LOTUS (EDIDP-ISR-TRPAS-2019-030-LOTUS) – co-funded by the European Union and the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence under the respective Grant Agreements mentioned above – as well as internal development projects (ATTALUS).
