During exercise LOYAL DOLOS 2025 (LODO25), NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR), deployed an IDE Generator Hybridization System (GHS) within a tactical microgrid, to support allied forces. The exercise was a major NATO Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) activity, providing an ideal environment to validate “game-changing” interoperable and modular energy solutions, under a real operational environment, in which NRDC-GR was challenged with a demanding, multi-layered scenario replicating high-intensity operations.
The LODO 25 tactical microgrid integrated a conventional power generator, hybridized with IDE’s HST25K Tactical Energy Storage Unit and deployable Solar panels, delivering unrivalled efficiency gains, across the full sustainment chain, and survivability enhancements, without impacting operational effectiveness.
- Direct fuel savings exceeding 54%, significantly reducing fuel resupply routes
- Nearly quadrupled maintenance intervals, ensuring a sustained operational tempo
- Enhanced HQ survivability through Silent Power operation, minimizing thermal and acoustic signatures
- Improved overall resilience via UPS, Power Assist, and Power Conditioning capabilities
