Intracom Defense (IDE) is pleased to announce a new contract award by Diehl Defence for the development of new advanced medium & long range IRIS-T missile communication link system. The system will have advanced performance characteristics able to support long range secure multidirectional communication (ground to air and air to ground), with high data rate and anti-jamming capabilities, under extreme environmental conditions.
The initial phase of the program for the design and development is a result of a long-term effort between IDE and Diehl Defence over the last 2 years, including the analysis of the program requirements and the implementation of the technical feasibility studies.
The Chief Executive Officer of IDE, Mr. George Troullinos, stated that: “It is our highest honor that Diehl Defence, a leading European defense company, has selected IDE for an important high technology part of their world class defense systems.”
