INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) had the pleasure to participate in the 2nd Plenary Meeting of “TRITON” Project which aims to overcome defence-specific obstacles associated to the automation of penetration tests and fully automate the pre- and post- pen testing process. The meeting was hosted by IDE in the Athens Armed Forces Officers’ Club, between 27-28/5/25, bringing together over 12 military, research, and industrial project partners, including the Hellenic Ministry of Defence (HMoD).
During the event, the project coordinator presented the current status of the project and its overall progress, while working package and task leaders provided their updates on the working packages WP1-7 progress of work, challenges and next steps.
The second day of the event was dedicated to the 1st Stakeholders’ workshop, with the participation of TRITON Partners, representatives from the Cypriot, Hellenic and Polish MoDs, and officers from DG DEFIS and EDA, focused on:
- Background, Concept, and Methodology – Overview of the project’s objectives, approach, and strategic vision.
- Key Technologies to be Developed – Presentation of core innovations and technical advancements.
- Use Cases and Operational Scenarios – Illustration of use case applications and expected impact.
- Identifying Cybersecurity and Automation Pen testing Needs.
- Defining Security Processes and Approaches, and
- KPIs revalidation.
IDE is looking forward to the best project’s implementation success and contributes to the development of TRITON’s automated pen-testing tool focusing on its adaptation, evaluation, and demonstration on a use case of pen-testing wireless communication devices.
This EDF 2023 project’s consortium led by UBITECH LIMITED, consists of 12 partners from 8 EU Member States, including the Hellenic Ministry of Defence.
