IDE partners with the University of Patras to empower young talent

On November 7th, 2025, INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) marked a key milestone in its long-standing commitment to innovation and technological excellence, as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. George Troullinos, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Patras, represented by the University’s Rector, Prof. Christos J. Bouras. The agreement establishes a robust framework for collaboration between academia and industry, nurturing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and professionals through shared educational and research initiatives.

The partnership covers internships, postgraduate programs, co-supervision of theses and doctoral projects, and joint efforts between the research teams of both organizations, with a strong focus on knowledge transfer and the development of cutting-edge technological solutions. It also supports the exchange of faculty members and students, fostering mentorship, experiential learning, and cross-disciplinary cooperation, organizing conferences, workshops, and other academic activities, including co-authored publications and research proposals. IDE will actively engage in the University’s job fairs, offering professional opportunities, while working closely with the Career Office to identify and attract emerging talent.
