INTRACOM DEFENSE led the PROTEAS 5th Plenary and CDR meetings

The PROTEAS (“DePloyable Special OpeRations FOrces MulTiEnvironment CommAnd Post and C2 System (SOFCPC2)”) EDF 2022 Projecthas successfully completed its 2nd Year, and thus the Design phase of the project was concluded.

This major project milestone was reached during a series of key meetings – the 5th Plenary (26 & 28/11/2025) and the Critical Design Review (CDR) (27/11/2025)- hosted by the Consortium Partner, THALES SIX GTS FRANCE SAS, in Paris, France.

During the 5th Plenary meeting, chaired by IDE as the Project’s Coordinator, the partners assessed the project’s overall progress, reinforced collaboration, and aligned on the next steps and forthcoming key milestones.

Additionally, during the dedicated CDR meeting, the PROTEAS consortium presented the related Deliverables and the MoDs representatives – led by the Hellenic MoD – validated the project’s implementation progress. The meeting was concluded positively, and the CDR milestone was officially attained. Consequently, the consortium received the approval to close the Design phase and proceed to the next phase of the System Prototyping of the PROTEAS Framework, scheduled to run for the next 6 months. The final Integration and Testing phase will then follow for the next six months, leading to the end of the project, when most importantly the demonstration of the PROTEAS System-of-Systems (SoS) to the project’s stakeholders (the EC and the supporting MoDs) is to take place.

As the Coordinator of the PROTEAS project, IDE is honoured to lead the consortium towards the successful execution and completion of this innovative European defence initiative.
