$30 million assignment for PATRIOT systems

June 06, 2011: INTRACOM Defense Electronics has undertaken from RAYTHEON a $30.1 million project for the manufacturing of PATRIOT subsystems. 

The contract, awarded after international competition, concerns the manufacturing of the Antenna Mast Group (AMG) integrated system for another PATRIOT partner needs and is expected to be complete by the end of 2014.


The project includes complete manufacturing of AMG systems in Greece as well as the required design works and technical services. At the same time a significant part of the program is assigned by INTRACOM Defense Electronics to other Greek defense industries, thus reinforcing the domestic industrial activities.

With this assignment INTRACOM Defense Electronics will be included in the global supply chain as a candidate manufacturer for the AMGs.
