In the frame of briefing in primary and significant industrial activities and infrastructures οf the country in the field of defense and security, the student-officers of the Hellenic Air Force Command and Staff College (AFCSC) visited INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) facilities, accompanied by staff officers.
Senior IDE executives welcomed the student-officers and informed them additionally about its participation in European Programs of new technologies and systems development, with special reference to LOTUS – the European Low Observable Tactical Unmanned Air System.
Furthermore, IDE presented its Missile Systems products and services, being in service by the Hellenic Air Force and mainly exported to major international manufacturers. It has also been highlighted that domestic industrial participation in new defense systems procurement or existing modernization programs, enhances the maintenance and support capabilities of these systems.
