Koropi, Greece, 25 January 2011: United States Army has successfully completed the required elaborate qualification procedures and INTRACOM Defense Electronics has been selected for the procurement of electronic subsystems of PATRIOT air defense systems.
The first contract has a value of approximate 1 million USD and duration of twelve (12) months, while additional orders are expected. In parallel and in the frame of increased diversification in the areas of production and support, the company is working to increase the number of qualified subsystems, targeting to extend its cooperation with US Army.
The selection by US Army proves that INTRACOM Defense Electronics is a valuable partner in the production of PATRIOT systems, which is based in the company’s state of the art infrastructure and the highly trained and experienced personnel.
