Koropi, 06 July, 2010: The development and qualification of the VHF/HF Remote Control System (RCS 610) have been completed successfully, in the frame of a contract worth € 2.6 mil awarded to INTRACOM Defense Electronics in 2008 from the French company THALES. The system is already in the series production phase with the placement of an initial order, while is expected an increase in the order flow.
INTRACOM Defense Electronics is the sole and exclusive supplier worldwide of the RCS 610, which is a multifunctional terminal for the PR4G VHF F@stnet and HF Skyf@st radios range, especially designed for military applications. It supports a wide range of services over VHF and HF radios and allows distant users to gain control of all important radio parameters.
Such agreements enlarge the very important involvement of INTRACOM Defense Electronics in development and production programs for telecommunications systems and demonstrate its recognition by leading international manufacturers in the defense field.
