November 14, 2012: INTRACOM Defense Electronics launched its new product Spart@n which is a new IP (Internet Protocol) broadband Radio System for secure information transfer at the tactical level. Spart@n can be interfaced with any type of peripheral IP device, such cameras, sensors and computers, in order to accommodate for the needs of real
time transmission of Digital Battlefield Information, Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Video. The capabilities of the system were demonstrated in real time link with units in the field.

It is the only system internationally, which is specifically designed to transfer Battle Management data, in real time in the theatre of operations”, stated Mr. George Troullinos, Chief Executive Officer of INTRACOM Defense Electronics.
Spart@n’s presentation was attended by representatives of the Ministers of Defense, Shipping & Aegean, Public Order & Citizens Protection, the General Directorate of Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), officers of all branches of the Armed Forces, the Police, the Coast Guard, the Fire Department, Defense Attachés of fourteen (14) countries, executives of Hellenic and foreign companies-partners, as well as media representatives.
