INTRACOM DEFENSE had the pleasure to host the LOTUS Program 2nd Periodic Review Meeting, with the participation of the LOTUS Consortium Partners, the European Commission Project Officer, the Hellenic Ministry of Defence Project Manager and Representatives from the Cypriot MoD, on the 5th of December, 2023.
Fruitful discussions and an engaging presentation took place, demonstrating the consortium’s immense efforts over the past 18 months of the Project, aiming to overcome challenges and meet the Grant Agreement Project Milestones, as well as the extremely successful collaborative environment that exists within the LOTUS Consortium.
The LOTUS Project addresses the feasibility, detailed design, prototyping and testing of a low-observable, airworthy and interoperable Tactical Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (TRPAS) targeted at ISR missions. The LOTUS Consortium consists of 11 partners from 4 European countries. The Project has received funding from the European Commission under the EDIDP-2019 framework and is also co-funded by the Hellenic and Cypriot MoDs.
