NAUTiCON is the winner in Hellenic Navy tender

Following a tender of the Hellenic MoD, IDE was  awarded a contract for the modernization of the communications of a Maritime Command & Control vessel of the Hellenic Navy, to be used as a strategic multipurpose command center for national and international missions.

IDE will fulfil the program’s demanding technical requirements with the supply and integration of the NAUTiCON system (Naval Unified Tactical IP Communication Network), that will provide integrated voice and data communication in the vessel.

NAUTiCON is the evolution of the Naval ICS WiSPR-NET and it is designed, developed and produced exclusively by IDE. The system is an advanced, open-architecture, digital communication system, which integrates the internal communications with all other related assets of navy vessels, such as HF/VHF/UHF external communications, Cryptographic Devices, Modem Equipment, Tactical Data Links, Public Announcement Systems, Telephony, Satellite Communication (SATCOM) and Ship LAN.

NAUTiCON can support medium and large scale platforms with hundreds of users and communication devices and provide high levels of security, interoperability and availability.
